The European Red Raspberry (Rubus idaeus) belongs to the Rosaceae family. It is a small thorny deciduous fruit shrub whose height can reach 1 to 1.5 to 2 m. European Red Raspberry seeks sunny or semi-shady places - especially in areas with very high temperatures in summer - and is extremely resistant to frost and very low temperatures, even when they reach -29 °C.
