The Japanese Honeysuckle is a vigorus, deciduous perennial climber plant with particularly strong aromatic flowering. Its flowers are initially white, which soon turns yellow. The flowers are followed by the fruits that are decorative and have a blue color. It has a high resistance to very low temperatures, poor soils as well as shady and half-shade places. As a plant it is extremely easy to grow and in fact needs some control when it comes to planting, especially in gardens outside cities, because it has the ability to reproduce on its own by displacing the native flora. It does not face problems from pests and diseases, with the exception of powdery mildew. If free growth is not desirable, then Japanese Honeysuckle is severely pruned during the winter. In addition to ornamental, the plant is used in perfumery, confectionery and as a herb.
► It is offered at a price determined by the particular characteristics of the plant, such as the size of the pot, its height, age and shape. Large shrubs are also available for sale (and planting) upon prior arrangement. In any case, the price or prices listed are indicative.
