The Wax Plant (Hoya carnosa) is a climbing plant native to the southeast of Asia and Australia, belonging to the Apocynaceae family; it is a fairly rustic and easy to grow evergreen. It has fleshy, shiny and dark green leaves, but the characteristic that makes it very particular are the flowers, gathered in umbrella-like inflorescences, waxy, fragrant and white-pink; they bloom between April and May and last all summer. The Wax Plant can't stand the cold, prefers a sunny exposure, but also adapts well to partial shade; the soil must be well drained, and the watering should not be exaggerated.
► It is offered at a price determined by the particular characteristics of the plant, such as the size of the pot, its height, age and shape. Large shrubs are also available for sale (and planting) upon prior arrangement. In any case, the price or prices listed are indicative.
