The Star Jasmine (Trachelospermum jasminoides) is a vine evergreen medium to high height. Its leaves are deep green and in May-June it shows white, fragrant and abundant flowers. When it is in bloom, its aroma can be felt from a long distance. It grows in slightly acidic to slightly alkaline and well-drained soils, in sunny, semi-shady as well as in shady places in very hot areas. It grows very quickly and knits easily on railings, fences and pergolas. It needs good watering and regular fertilization, in spring and summer, but if it is well installed, it shows excellent resistance to drought. In conditions of low temperatures in winter, a small percentage of the leaves may turn brown-bronze and some partial foliage may be observed, which is considered completely normal. The Star Jasmine being resistant to pests and diseases is an excellent choice for creating fences or shading in any garden and / or business space.
