Italian Jasmine (Chrysojasminum humile-syn. Jasminum humile) Plant - Vine Flowering Plants. The Italian Jasmine botanically belongs to the family of Olive (Oleaceae). It originates from various regions of the Middle and Far East. It is a shrubby, perennial and evergreen or semi-evergreen species, reaching a height of up to 4 m. It has a medium growth rate, an arching appearance and a spherical shape. Its alternate leaves are green, odd pinnately compound, smooth-textured, lanceolate-ovate in shape, with sometimes entire or spiny margins. The plant flowers from mid-spring to late summer. Its monoecious, fragrant flowers, borne on cyme inflorescences, are yellow in colour and tubular in shape. The Italian Jasmine is fairly easy to grow. Its growth is favoured when it is placed in sunny areas, with normal humidity levels, and fertile soil with excellent drainage. It can be used both in gardening and in landscape architecture, planted as specimen, in groups and also in compositions with other plants. Thanks to its resistance to salt sprays, it can even adorn seaside gardens. Furthermore, with the right support, it can be train into a climbing plant.
► It is offered at a price determined by the particular characteristics of the plant, such as the size of the pot, its height, age and shape. Large plants are also available for sale (and planting) upon prior arrangement. In any case, the price or prices listed are indicative.
