Common Thyme (Thymus vulgaris) Herb

The Common Thyme (Thymus vulgaris) is a perennial, aromatic plant of the family Lamiaceae. It is a rather small growth soil cover plant with white or pink flowers, which appear during the summer. It grows in neutral or alkaline, dry, barren soils that show excellent drainage and in protected sunny places. It does not require special maintenance, however it is recommended to be pruned after flowering, in order to maintain a compact shape. The Common Thyme is planted in rock gardens, pots and gardens of aromatic plants and herbs where its flowers attract bees, while it is also suitable for coastal planting.

► It is offered at a price determined by the particular characteristics of the plant, such as the size of the pot, its height, age and shape. Large shrubs are also available for sale (and planting) upon prior arrangement. In any case, the price or prices listed are indicative.
