Silver Linden Tree (Tilia tomentosa)

The Silver Linden is a great-looking deciduous tree. Used in parks, in squares but also to shade the garden. They are long-lived, oval with rounded top and a moderate growth rate. The leaves are cordate, the bark of the trunk is grayish and flowers yellow and aromatic attract insects like bees. The Silver Linden belongs in medicinal plants and so the blossom and the fruit and bark of recovered to produce therapeutic formulations (tilio).
