Hedera Goldheart (Hedera helix 'Oro di Bogliasco') Climbing Plant

Hedera Goldheart (Hedera helix 'Oro di Bogliasco') Climbing Plant - Vine Flowering Plants. The Hedera helix belongs botanically to the Araliaceae family. It comes from various regions of Europe and western Asia. This species includes the variety 'Oro di Bogliasco' (or 'Goldheart'). It is a large climbing plant, which, thanks to its aerial rootlets, can reach a height of about 30 m, grows on tree tunks or surfaces. It is perennial and evergreen, with a fast growth rate, medium-dense crown and a climbing or creeping habit. The leaves, which are the main ornamental feature of the plant, are alternately arranged, simple, palmately lobed, smooth-textured, ovate or rhomboidal in shape with entire margins, the lamina of which is green with a golden yellow central spot. The inconspicuous dioecious flowers, which are borne on umbell inflorescences, are yellowish-green, stellate in shape and appear in autumn. The Hedera Goldheart, is an extremely easy-to-grow plant. It can withstand high and low temperatures, frost and drought. The Hedera Goldheart is used as a climbing plant for creating a hedge, as well as in pergolas or trellises. It is also planted as specimen, or in group plantings and compositions. And its satisfactory tolerance to salt sprays additionally allows it to be planted in seaside gardens. It is also used as a ground cover plant, with great success.

► It is offered at a price determined by the particular characteristics of the plant, such as the size of the pot, its height, age and shape. Large plants are also available for sale (and planting) upon prior arrangement. In any case, the price or prices listed are indicative.
