The Common Rue (Ruta graveolens) is an evergreen herb that belongs to the Rutaceae family. It has the appearance of a bush and a wooded base, its leaves are compound green and flowers yellow during the summer. The whole plant emits a characteristic unpleasant odor when approached, and this may be the reason why, according to popular wisdom, it drives away the "evil eye". In addition to its ornamental use, it is used both as a medicine and herb as well as a spice.
► It is offered at a price determined by the particular characteristics of the plant, such as the size of the pot, its height, age and shape. Large shrubs are also available for sale (and planting) upon prior arrangement. In any case, the price or prices listed are indicative.
