The Rosemary Prostratus (Rosmarinus officinalis ‘Prostratus’) is a variety of the typical species. The only difference is in the form, where in Rosemary Prostratus the lateral growth dominates and its shoots rest on the ground. It also has evergreen foliage and small, needle-like leaves that are gray-green in color. Its flowers, which have a light blue-violet color, appear from the end of winter and the flowering continues until the end of Spring. It is a plant of very easy cultivation, it is planted in any soil type that drains well and in sunny places. It does not face problems from pests and diseases in practice, it can withstand drought and coastal conditions, while it is also a bee attract plant. Rosemary Prostratus is used in gardening and landscape architecture, especially in Mediterranean gardens and environments.
