English Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) Herb

Lavender angustifolia, also called True Lavender, Common Lavender, has a multitude of aromatic and medicinal properties, while its flowers turn out the moth. It is an evergreen flowering, multi-branched perennial bush, easy to cultivate as long as it is planted on a light, gravelly soil that has perfect drainage. It has a rich summer flowering from from mid-spring to August. Lavender angustifolia is used in gardening as well as landscape architecture, individually, in groups or hedgings for the creation of a Mediterranean garden in particular.
