Threadleaf Agave (Agave filifera). This evergreen species of Agave gives small to medium-sized perennial succulents, with absent shoots, and very decorative leaves that emerge directly from the base of the plant in a rosette arrangement. They have white threads that wrap around them, are dark green with elongated thin white spots, and have a lanceolate shape that ends in a sharp tip at the top. The flowers of the plant appear in Autumn or Winter in large, impressive spike type inflorescences and have a yellowish green and purple color. The Threadleaf Agave (Agave filifera) is a very ornamental and durable xerophyte plant suitable for potted, gravelly garden soil, or rock garden.
► It is offered at a price determined by the particular characteristics of the succulent, such as the size of the pot, its height, and age. Large succulents are also available for sale (and planting) upon prior arrangement. In any case, the price or prices listed are indicative.
