Promitheas Ready Lawn (Festuca arundinacea)

Promitheas Ready Lawn (Festuca arundinacea) is the only fescue in the Greek market with a rhizomatous mixture. It consists of Festuca arundinacea varieties except that one of them is Rhizomatous. It has excellent appearance and is dense with dark green color which maintains throughout the year. RESISTANCE TO TEMPERATURES Very great

RESISTANCE TO USE Excellent because propagated by roots and thus can fill gaps created by the intense use and diseases

RESISTANCE TO DISEASES Very high tolerance to fungal diseases such as Rhizoctonia and Pythium, but because of endophyte vaccination and immunity in Helminthosporium

RESISTANCE TO SHADE Satisfactory

SALINITY RESISTANCE Good - It behaves well up 4000 mS / cm conductivity

DORMANCY Not contrary has very good color during the winter months

MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS It is slow growing but needs at least three haircuts per month in height 3-5cm
