Prickly Spider Flower (Grevillea juniperina) is an evergreen medium growth shrub that resembles juniper. It has bright green needle leaves, which also perform the work of the thorns protecting the plant, and the familiar unusual flowers of the Grevilleas (here they look very much like a spider), to which they largely owe their popularity. Its flowers appear from the second year onwards, they are red in color and are carried on striped inflorescences. Flowering is observed from the middle of spring and lasts until the end of the summer - however, if the summer is very warm, flowering is extended until the first autumn cold. Grevila is an easy-growing plant, needs minimal watering, grows in all the soil that has excellent drainage, and is suitable for planting in both urban and countryside, and even in seaside gardens.
It is offered at a price determined by the particular characteristics of the plant, such as the size of the pot, its height, age and shape. Large shrubs are also available for sale (and planting) upon prior arrangement. In any case, the price or prices listed are indicative.
