The Bugleherb (Ajuga reptans) botanically belongs to the family Lamiaceae. It is a herbaceous, perennial, evergreen and spreading plant, of medium growth rate. It has ground-covering properties, and thanks to the runners (stolons) it creates a very thick cover, while at the end of Spring with the beginning of Summer it presents upright very decorative raceme inflorescences that have blue flowers. The leaves are dark green to violet-green and appear in a flat rosette. The Bugleherb is an easy-to-cultivate herbaceus, has no serious problems from pests or diseases, and requires minimal care. It can be planted in any light exposure - even in the shade - and in cool, acid-neutral and well-drained soils. It withstands frost and heat and is an excellent choice as a ground cover plant.
► It is offered at a price determined by the particular characteristics of the plant, such as the size of the pot, its height, age and shape. Large shrubs are also available for sale (and planting) upon prior arrangement. In any case, the price or prices listed are indicative.
