The Box Εlder is an excellent appearance and fast growing deciduous tree. It is used in parks, squares, sidewalks, and shading in the garden. It has a spherical shape with an irregular growth pattern. The leaves are composites composed of 5 usually saw-blades and the trunk is single, gray colored. It is a tree resistant to cold, it can be cultivated in often flooded lands, while its foliage becomes particularly attractive in the autumn. It is one of the most useful trees in gardening and landscape architecture.
