The BASE T-Wall Mid S3S HRO CI HI HI LG FO SR are waterproof safety boots that combine quality and technology. Made by the renowned Italian company BASE, they belong to the Fortrex line, which is intended for demanding sectors such as industry, factories and shipbuilding. These boots provide excellent protection, mainly thanks to the Slim Cap construction of the non-metallic toe cap, thus ensuring safety on the wearer's feet in difficult working conditions. The high-quality waterproof waxed leather used in their construction offers additional protection against the weather, while the anti-static sole prevents the build-up of static electricity. The anti-puncture sole further enhances safety by offering protection from sharp and pointed objects, elements that are important for high risk workplaces. With the dual-density Airtech PU/HRO rubber sole, the boots ensure comfort and flexibility, reducing fatigue during work. The waterproof BASE T-Wall Mid S3S boots are designed to withstand cold conditions in particular, with insulation that can withstand temperatures as low as -17 °C. Their orthopaedic sole complies with the European standard DGUV 112-191, providing support and comfort during movement. In addition, the SmellStop lining is 100% antibacterial, ensuring that feet stay fresh during the day. Dry’n Air®

A patented technology which ensures optimal air circulation inside the shoe, whether integrated into the sole (Platinum Line) or in the anatomically designed removable footbed.

AirTech+Tpu-Skin®

The Airtech + Tpu-Skin system is an exclusive technology, patented by Base Protection, to reduce the hard and compact thickness of the outsole to 0.2 mm - very low compared to the competition. The result is an increased flexibility of the safety shoe and a reduction in the feeling of fatigue. Reducing the thickness of the outsole allows to obtain more space for AirTech, the soft and elastic layer that cushions and promotes the best distribution of body weight. More elasticity and less pressure on the metatarsal make the user feel like walking on a soft pillow.

SmellStop

Anti-odour lining that stops bacteria and fungus odours in their tracks, keeping the feet fresh and healthy all day long. Treatment made with biocide Zincpyrithione (CAS-No. 13463-41-7) product type PT09 who counteracts the deposit of microorganisms on the surface of materials.

SlimCap

Slim-Cap is a lighter and more flexible toe cap compared to traditional metal toe caps, which is non-magnetic and thermally insulated. With a thickness as low as 6.5mm, wearers will enjoy increased comfort and more room for their feet. The toe-cap also includes a protective strip with the same shape to prevent accidental detachment and reduce painful pressure on the toes. Furthermore, it meets the rigorous mechanical stress requirements of the EN ISO 20345 and EN 22568 standards.

Fortrex

The Fortrex system provides the "shield effect" in the back of shoe, which absorbs shocks and gives support and snug fit to the heel and ankle area. In addition, the ultra strong rigid part creates a W-shaped barrier against the risk of perforation from below and from the side, even with nails of 3 mm diameter (new requirement of EN ISO 20345). Moreover, there is a cushoning effect that ensures the energy absorption and comfort.
