It is oval-shaped and medium textured foliage. The leaves are dark green in color, the trunk with deep grooves is dark gray, the branches, slightly rising upwards, are gray - red the younger and darker the mature. It is a cold-resistant tree with foliage very attractive in autumn thanks to its bright yellow, orange and orange-red colors.
