The Mugo Pine (Pinus mugo) belongs to the Pinaceae family and originates from Southwestern and Central Europe. It is a large evergreen coniferous shrub, which can be formed into a small tree and its characteristic is that it grows extremely slowly. It has dense vegetation, spherical shape, and foliage consisting of deep green needle-like leaves, which may acquire yellowish-green hues in winter. The Mugo Pine is a relatively easy-to-grow coniferous plant as it adapts to a wide range of soil-climatic conditions and is planted in cool soils with excellent drainage. Numerous varieties come from Pinus mugo, with particularly attractive features, while it is also extremely decorative, which is why it is used in gardening and landscape architecture. It is planted alone, en masse or in small groups in gardens, parks and squares, as well as in outdoor living areas, rocky areas and gravelly surfaces or along paths. It can also be planted in large pots as well as in planters.
► It is offered at a price determined by the particular characteristics of the conifer plant, such as the size of the pot, its height, age and shape. Large conifer shrubs and trees are also available for sale (and planting) upon prior arrangement. In any case, the price or prices listed are indicative.

| Plant Uses | The Mugo Pines are used in parks, squares, gardens, pots and containers. They are planted as specimen, in groups and in rows for the creation of borders. They are also suitable for coastal plantings, as well as for the planting of rock gardens, while their use is also indicated in areas with little water (as the islands), due to their increased resistance to drought. |
