The Laurustinus (Viburnum tinus), is an evergreen, perennial, woody plant with extremely dense foliage. It has oval leaves of green color, and pinkish white, slightly fragrant flowers, which are carried on a disc-shaped umbel inflorescence. Flowering occurs in late winter and lasts about 90 days. The black fruits are small drypes. The Laurustinus is an easy-to-grow plant, growing in any well-drained soil, even in areas with fairly cold winters. It wants sunny places, but it can also be placed in the half-shade. Viburnum tinus is used both in gardening, in the garden and in pots, as well as in landscape architecture, as an individual plant, in group plantings, as well as for the creation of pruned or informal hedges.
► It is offered at a price determined by the particular characteristics of the plant, such as the size of the pot, its height, age and shape. Large shrubs are also available for sale (and planting) upon prior arrangement. In any case, the price or prices listed are indicative.
