Kikuyu Grass WHITTEN 1kg (Pennisetum Clandestinum - syn. Cenchrus clandestinus) Fito Turf Grass Seed. High-strength and excellent-looking variety of turf from the leading Spanish seed producer Semillas Fitó. It is a variety of warm-season grass species C4, which adapts to a wide range of soil types. Its germination requires a minimum soil temperature of 18 °C while it enters the dormant phase at a temperature of less than 8-10 °C. Plants in the growing season extend sideways with stolons and rhizomes. The WHITTEN variety belongs to the species Pennisetum (Pennisetum Clandestinum - syn. Cenchrus clandestinus) and is very resistant to heat, salinity, drought, use stress and Spring Dead Spots due to the fungi Ophiosphaerella korrae, O. narmari, and O. herpotric, as well as Brown Patch (Rhizoctonia solani). It is suitable for sowing and installation in any suitable private, public or professional space (such as gardens, stadiums, sports facilities, hotels), and especially in areas where available water for irrigation is scarce.
