African Lily White Rhizomatous (Agapanthus africanus - White)

The White African Lily is a variety of Agapanthus, and like Blue African Lily, it is also an evergreen perennial, which also belongs to the rhizomatous-tuberous plants. Its only difference from Blue is in flower color. Otherwise, it has the same large and glossy lanceolate leaves, 40 to 70 cm long, which curve slightly downward, also giving them an apse-like shape. And of course, from the base of the plant, in the summer emerges, the single flowering stem, where at its top appears the impressive round inflorescence that bears a lot of white flowers. Cultivantly, its requirements are the same as Blue: it is planted in areas where the temperatures do not fall below 0 °C in the winter, and withstand tolerance to drought, air pollution and aerosol salts, and practically does not encounter any problem of pests and diseases. White African Lily can be planted in public places and private gardens, in seaside areas and islands as well as under light shade of deciduous trees. It combines perfectly with Blue African Lily, creating exceptional colorful garlands.
