Garden Cress Bio 967 Organic Seeds (Lepidium sativum)

 

The Garden Cress (Lepidium sativum) is an annual plant of easy cultivation. It comes from the tropical regions of Asia and botanically belongs to the Brassicaceae family. It is used in cooking for its spicy, slightly burning taste, leaves and shoots. It is a rich source of vitamins (A, C and K), minerals and sugars. The organically produced Lepidium sativum comes from the renowned French seed company VILMORIN (founded in 1743), which guarantees the biological origin of the seed, germination and fidelity to the type of product.

Garden Cress Bio 967 Organic Seeds - Sowing and Harvesting Instructions

 

 

► When is it Sown?

Almost all year round (in pots) and from March to September in the garden.

► How is it Sown?

Sowing is done directly on the vegetable garden soil, in rows with a distance of 30-40 cm from each other and 20-30 cm on them, and in a sunny position. For continuous harvest it is sown every 15 to 20 days.

► When Is It Harvested?

About 1½ months after sowing.
