The Variegated Veronica (Hebe x franciscana 'Variegata' - syn. Hebe x franciscana 'Silver Queen') belongs to the genus Hebe and the family Plantaginaceae. It is an excellent-looking and small evergreen shrub, round or flattened round in shape. It has variegated foliage, with dark green inner leaves surrounded by irregular creamy-white margins, and purple or purple-violet flowers on raceme inflorescences, which at the height of the long flowering period cover almost the entire plant. This is a fair hardy, easy-to-grow shrub that adapts well to a variety of environments - especially in coastal areas.
