Pruning Saw 30cm Silky ZÜBAT 330-7.5 Japan - Professional Saws. Silky's Japanese curved blade saws, belonging to the ZÜBAT series of pruning saws, are among the most widely used handsaws in the world by arborists. The ZÜBAT 330-7.5 pruning saw is a versatile cutting tool that stores conveniently in the scabbard and is used for a variety of pruning tasks in immature wood, fresh shoots and branches. The saw straight blade has large teeth that cut through wood with ease - especially soft wood such as beech, oak and fruit trees. The ZÜBAT 330-7.5 is an extremely compact and convenient saw that the professional arborist, the gardener and the home grower can always have in hand during pruning operations, as it will help him, for example, to prune branches that are very thick for his scissors. In addition, a prominent feature of the ZÜBAT 330-7.5 is that sawing with this cutting tool requires less force than other similar products on the market, making it easy to prune even in areas where trees are densely grown. Its rigid, hardened blade, which fits into the handle, has four cutting angles making this saw extremely strong and productive. The teeth remain sharp, even after prolonged use, and the cuts are always smooth and clean from which the tree can easily recover. Clean cuts are ensured by the special design of the teeth, which offers the four cutting angles to the blade. When the ZÜBAT 330-7.5 is not in use, its blade easily enters the scabbard and by pushing it from the handle it locks. Also, the comfortable, ergonomic handle offers a firm and sure grip. It is made of rubber and absorbs vibrations. The Pruning Saw 30cm Silky ZÜBAT 330-7.5 Japan is used in the garden, orchard, forest, camping, etc. It is worth noting that the COMTARO and JUBAT models are the only ones in the world that have Solid Piece-Blue Steel blades, allowing them to remain sharp for a long time. The Silky ZÜBAT 330-7.5 hand saw comes with a belt scabbard and is covered by a lifetime warranty - subject to conditions.

The new Electroless Nickel Plating coating process allows the entire blade, even the teeth, to be coated. This provides superior wear and rust resistance for improved cutting performance and extended blade life.
The tips of the teeth are heated up to a very high temperature for a split second. As only the tip (or in other words the cutting part) of the tooth is heated, the rest of the tooth keeps its cutting quality but also its flexibility. Induction hardened teeth have a lifespan of three times that of non-treated teeth. They cannot be sharpened and are recognizable by the black teeth tips.
The razor sharp teeth are ground in the blade with precision, each with 3 cutting edges and an extremely smooth surface as a result. For an optimal discharge of saw dust, one of every so many teeth (depending on the saw model) has been ground to the outside. This unmatched patented MIRAI-ME technology makes it possible to use the saw for 3 types of sawing: crosscutting (perpendicular to the grain), rip-cutting (parallel to the direction of the grain) and diagonally. During pruning activities the smooth saw cut will allow the tree wound to overgrown easily. Within carpentry, the smooth saw cut gives a large finish, so that sanding is hardly necessary.
The teeth are ground in the blade with precision, each with 4 cutting surfaces. The teeth are “non- set” (in compare to a classic Western saw), so that the cutting surface cuts straight into the wood, and destroys about 50% less wood cells in the process. The blades are ground biconcave: the bottom part of the blade is thickest, the top part slightly thinner and the blade is thinnest in the middle.
The GOM rubber handle absorbs sawing vibrations and offers a superior grip, even in wet conditions or while wearing gloves. Moreover, this handle always feels comfortably warm, even in extremely cold temperatures.
