Applications

Fertigation

Ultrasol® Magnum Special are designed for use in fertigation.

 

Foliar sprays

The presence of urea in Ultrasol® Magnum Special facilitates the penetration of other nutrients applied through foliar sprays. Lowering the pH of the spray solution can increase nutrient availability and improve the stability of some pesticides when mixed together in the spray can. Because all NPK-Magnum types are strong acidifiers, it is recommended to check the pH of the final tank mix before starting application, as pH levels below 4 can cause burns.

 

Rotation systems

For use in rotational irrigation systems it is recommended to use plenty of water after applying Ultrasol® Magnum Special, in order to transport nutrients to the root system (and to wash off any residues from the leaves) and to avoid pH levels below 4 which will could cause burns.

 

Hydroponics

Ultrasol® Magnum Special are not recommended in hydroponic systems with inert substrates such as rockwool or perlite.
