SKW-Piesteritz PIAZUR 46-0-0 Granular Fertilizer 25kg with Urease Inhibitor Granular Fertilizer - Granular Fertilizers. PIAZUR 46-0-0 Granular Fertilizer 25kg is the first stabilized fertilizer with 46% carbamate nitrogen and urease inhibitor 2-NPT ((2-nitrophenyl) triamide phosphate). The 2-NPT inhibitor is a global innovation of the German company SKW-PIESTERITZ and has the highest stability compared to other competing inhibitors (such as NBPT) on the market. In particular, the composition of 2-NPT remains stable even after 12 months of storage, ensuring maximum efficiency and flexibility for application and storage, unlike other competing products. Piazur's 2-NPT inhibitor acts by blocking the active part of the urease enzyme slowing down the hydrolysis of urea and its conversion to ammonium for up to 2 weeks preventing the release of NH3 into the air. In this way, nitrogen (NH3) losses to air are minimised and the ammonium formed is more easily bound to soil colloids, achieving the most functional nitrogen management. Optimum utilisation of the element results in a high protein content for the crop, optimum redistribution of nitrogen from the plant leaves to the fruit and thus maximum yields and high quality of the products. As regards the effect of the application of PIAZUR 46-0-0 on the environment, the result is the elimination of nitrogen losses to the atmosphere in the form of ammonia(NH3).
