LECHUZA Palmpon Organic-Mineral Substrate - For Palms & Mediterranean Pot & Garden Plants. As a high quality packaged substrate, LECHUZA Palmpon ensures - thanks to its highly balanced composition - healthy and robust plants. The planting substrate provides the optimum ratio of air, water and fertilizer, together with a stabilised soil pH, so that it continuously releases nutrients to the potted plants and those in the garden according to their needs. The substrate consists of zeolite, pumice, light lava, pine bark and slow release fertilizer. It also includes black lava for greater heat storage. The proportions of the ingredients are very well thought out, so that from a structural point of view the substrate does not run the risk of compaction or sedimentation. It is suitable for Mediterranean type plants as well as Palms, and offers an advanced alternative to conventional soil or packaged potting soil, as it can be used instead. Most species of Palms seek cool soil but not soils that are waterlogged. Such conditions are ensured in the rhizosphere area not only by the structure of the materials but also by the increased mineral content of Palmpon. On the other hand, the enhanced presence of potassium and iron in the slow-release fertiliser guarantees healthy plants and rapid growth. And thanks to the presence in the substrate of the slow-release fertiliser, the nutritional adequacy of the plants is about 6 to 8 months. The product does not contain peat for environmental reasons.
