Fiskars Anvil Powergear™ (L) L77 68.6 cm Lopper Patented Mechanism - Pruning Loppers. Practical, durable and effective loppers from the renowned Finnish company Fiskars (founded in 1649). The Fiskars PowerGear™ Anvil Lopper (L) L77 is a full-size lopper for larger cutting jobs - for example cutting tree branches and thicker branches in general. The handles are made from FiberComp to be extremely lightweight and strong, which is further enhanced by the handles being coated with SoftGrip technology for added comfort. As with other members of the PowerGear™ family, the patented mechanism makes cutting 3 times easier compared to standard mechanisms, which is a big advantage. The upper blade is made from high quality hardened carbon steel, ensuring it can be sharpened and maintain its edge for longer. The quality of the blade is further enhanced by a non-stick PTFE coating on the upper blade to reduce friction and facilitate cutting and cleaning. The cast aluminium anvil blade allows easier cutting of hard, dry wood, which is the purpose of anvil pruners.
