Deodar Cedar is one of the most impressive conifers. Evergreen and of great growth, it is pyramid-shaped and glaucous foliage carried on branches that are hanging downward. The needle leaves of the tree, which over time become deep green, are the largest of all types of cedar trees. It is considered to be a coniferous tree, exceptionally easy to cultivate, since it has no particular preference for the soil type, provided it does not waterlogged, and will rarely encounter problems from pests and diseases. Deodar Cedar is a precious plant for gardening and landscape architecture and is exploited by planting itself as a specimen plant or in groups for the creation of screens or even for the creation of windbreaks.
