Suitable for use in Organic Farming
Liquid water-soluble fertilizer DCM ProLico 2 (2,3-0-6) is a product that can be used in organic farming. It is completely soluble in water and can be added during irrigation for more frequent watering and fertilization. Contains exclusively nitrogen of organic origin, produced from animal and vegetable oils. The elements of organic origin, together with the proteins and vitamins it contains contribute to the creation of strong, resistant and productive plants. Due to the solubility of the product in water, the sources of nitrogen and potassium in the produced solution are dissolved immediately after application by soil microorganisms. This means that they are quickly converted into plant-digestible forms that are readily available to them. In addition to water fertilization, DCM ProLico 2 is applied by rooting or foliar spraying. Its use is particularly recommended during the ripening stage of the tomato to obtain an attractive red color of the fruits, as well as in leafy vegetables where the aim is to "tighten" their foliage when low temperatures prevail.

DCM ProLico 2 (2,3-0-6) liquid water-soluble fertilizer can be used in production systems where electrical conductivity is controlled and limited. There is, however, a positive correlation between the amount of fertilizer applied and the increase in electrical conductivity. The initial conductivity levels of the irrigation water and the desired nitrogen and potassium concentration levels must be known in advance in order to apply the appropriate dose of ProLico 2. In the majority of crops, the potassium concentration of the nutrient solution varies from 100 to 300 mg K /L (2.5-7.5 mmol K/L). The table below lists the doses of ProLico 2 (2,3-0-6) needed to achieve the desired concentrations of nitrogen and potassium in the irrigation water.

The applied doses depend on the desired potassium concentrations in the nutrient solution, the maximum allowable/desired nitrogen concentration of the nutrient solution, the frequency of application and the electrical conductivity of the water in which ProLico 2 (2,3-0-6) will be used. The effects of ProLico 2 (2,3-0-6) on the electrical conductivity of water show a sustained increase of about 330 µS/cm for every 1 g of ProLico 2 (2,3-0-6) used per liter of irrigation water. The table below shows that the effect of ProLico 2 (2,3-0-6) on the electrical conductivity of the nutrient solution is continuous and minimally limited even when the highest recommended doses of ProLico 2 (2,3-0-6 ) (6 g/L) are added to water with relatively high values of electrical conductivity. Although the organically synthesized nitrogen in ProLico 2 (2,3-0-6) has little effect on electrical conductivity, it is important to note that it is converted to plant-available nitrogen by soil microorganisms, which slightly increases the electrical conductivity of the nutrient solution. However, it is advisable to avoid applications with high doses of ProLico 2 (2,3-0-6) in the irrigation system. If the fertilizer is used continuously (50% of the time or more) in the irrigation water, it is better to limit the maximum dose to 3-4 g ProLico 2 (2.3-0-6) per liter of water. In case of intermittent dosing (2-3 times a week) it is recommended to increase the dose up to 6 g ProLico 2 (2.3-0-6) per liter. Thanks to its solubility in water, ProLico 2 (NK 2.5- 7.5) is naturally susceptible to dissolution and leaching. When calculating the dose of ProLico 2 (2,3-0-6), the nitrogen needs of the crop and the desired and maximum allowable electrical conductivity of the irrigation water should be taken into account, as should the frequency of application. Due to the immediate breakdown of the organically synthesized nutrients of ProLico 2 (2,3-0-6) by microorganisms after their dissolution in the aeration water, the solution cannot be kept indefinitely. Thus, after dissolving ProLico 2 (2,3-0-6) in water, the solution should be used as soon as possible. If ProLico 2 (2,3-0-6) is used in a closed growing system (recirculating irrigation water), the grower can either adjust the amount of water used to dissolve the fertilizer so that the solution is used in 2-3 days or to stop curing after this period, which is also the appropriate solution. ProLico 2 (2,3-0-6) can be used in combination with other water soluble fertilizers such as trace element fertilizers. It is recommended to dissolve the appropriate dose of ProLico 2 (2,3-0-6) in the irrigation water before adding another fertilizer to the solution.
