The Coral Plant (Russelia equisetiformis) botanically belongs to the family Plantaginaceae. It is a perennial, evergreen or semi-evergreen semi-woody shrub, of low height and medium growth rate. Dominant decorative elements of the Coral Plant are both its free form, with its natural arch-shaped or weeping shape and its many tubular red flowers, which appear from mid-Spring to mid-Autumn. The plant is extremely easy to grow, adapts to many different soil types, as long as they are fertile and well drained, while withstanding air pollution and frost. The Coral Plant is a species with very low maintenance requirements, practically not endangered by pests and diseases and is used planted in gardens and pots as a ground cover, hanging or climbing (with support) shrub.
► It is offered at a price determined by the particular characteristics of the plant, such as the size of the pot, its height, age and shape. Large shrubs are also available for sale (and planting) upon prior arrangement. In any case, the price or prices listed are indicative.
