It has green, fragrant, compound leaves, bipinnate or tripinnate, and white flowers with a yellow centre, which are borne in paniculate flower heads (capitula inflorescences). Flowering occurs from April to June. Cultivation of Chamomile is not particularly difficult, since it is adapted to any type of medium to heavy soil with excellent drainage. It is sown directly in the final positions or in a seedbed for transplanting. The flowers of the plant are harvested when they are in full bloom.
