The Box Topiary Ball (Buxus spp.) is a small or medium-sized (depending on the species and variety), highly durable, perennial evergreen shrub, which botanically belongs to the family of Buxaceae. It has a slow to medium growth rate and extremely high density foliage. The leaves are simple, opposite, leathery in texture, while their color is green. The flowers, which appear in spring, are white-cream, but have no special decorative value.
