Bonsai Scissors 55mm OKATSUNE 201 Medium Model - Japanese Bonsai Scissors. The OKATSUNE 201 is a professional, lightweight pruning scissor, which weighs only 250 gr. It is a traditional Japanese bonsai scissors, suitable for shaping and preserving the respective plants with great precision. These scissors are also suitable for trimming boxwood and pine trees in the Japanese-style garden. The sharp, ultra-thin 55mm blades ensure deep penetration into the miniature shrub or tree for cutting fresh parts of the shrub or tree, such as unwooded shoots and leaves. ► Professional users frequently sharpen the blades, eventually making them thinner and create space between the blades at the top. To correct this space it is possible to grind off the protective stoppers, situated at the bottom side of the handles. This way you can much longer enjoy sharp scissors.
