French Oak Wine-Tsipouro Barrel 50lt with Stand, Tap & Cannula - Wooden Wine Barrels. Oak barrels suitable for maturing the wine and/or for aging the tsipouro. They are made from selected French Oak wood that comes from the species Quercus robur (Common Oak) and Quercus petraea (White Oak). Both plant species are recognized as contributing aromatic components to the wine to be matured, improving its taste and aroma characteristics. Such aromatic components are vanillin and its derivatives, methyl-octalactone and tannins, as well as phenols and volatile aldehydes. The French Oak wood used in the barrels has been dried for 24 months. The French Oak Wine-Tsipouro Barrel 50lt is offered together with the wooden stand, the tap and the cannula. The cap and cannula are 100% tapered for a perfect fit.
