On the contrary, all Sansevierias filter out toxic substances that accumulate inside homes, apartments or offices (such as formaldehyde, trichloroethylene, benzene, toluene, etc.). These toxic substances are released into the air from common everyday objects such as ink, foam or plastic bags, and therefore the Snake Plants clean the atmosphere by neutralizing them. In addition, they produce oxygen throughout the day, and even more so at night, which makes them suitable for placement in the bedroom.
