The curved blade is made of high quality steel. They have optimal weight distribution and high cutting performance thanks to the steel blade that is bent backwards for easy use, as well as a firm grip even with gloves. The fully hardened, precision-sharpened brush hooks' blade stays extremely sharp for longer and has a low-friction coating of synthetic PTFE (Teflon) fluoropolymer, which resists rust and allows for smoother and easier cutting. The carefully designed, lightweight, durable FiberComp™ shaft makes the axe virtually unbreakable, while reducing fatigue. The machined SoftGrip™ handle, made of PVC-free, fiberglass-reinforced plastic, features a shock-absorbing surface extension to provide the user with a secure yet comfortable grip.
