Fiskars Machete Axe Solid CL-581 46cm Blade 1.08kg - Axes-Machetes-Hatchets. Effective, durable and functional machetes from the renowned Finnish company Fiskars (founded in 1649). They are suitable for clearing dense bushes, cutting roots, cutting branches and palms as well as dense, fast-growing vegetation. The fully hardened, precision-sharpened machete blade, which is shaped for a wide range of tasks, remains extremely sharp for longer and has a low-friction coating that resists rust and allows for smoother, easier chopping. Cuts can be made with one hand leaving the other free for stacking the cut material, substantially speeding up the job. In addition to the machete, the CL-581 tool offers an axe-like blade head for cutting and ripping, a sharpened blade curve for fast cuts and a sharpened tip for push-cutting and chiseling in tight spaces. The machined Contoured ​SoftGrip™ handle, made of PVC-free, fiberglass-reinforced plastic, features a shock-absorbing surface extension to provide the user with a secure yet comfortable grip.
