The axe's fully hardened, precision-sharpened blade stays sharp longer and has a low-friction coating that resists rust and allows for smoother, easier cuts. The carefully designed, lightweight, durable FiberComp™ shaft makes the axe virtually unbreakable, while reducing fatigue. The machined SoftGrip™ handle, made of PVC-free, fiberglass-reinforced plastic, features a shock-absorbing surface extension to provide the user with a secure yet comfortable grip. The XXL X27 axe is suitable for splitting large logs with a diameter of more than 30 cm. The thick blade gives it an extra push to split even the thickest stumps.
