The traditional variety of dwarf Cannellino beans originates from Italy, specifically from the greater Lucca region of Tuscany. The pods are green in colour, flat and straight, and produce 5 to 6 thin-peeled, kidney-shaped, flattened bean seeds, which are white in colour.
