The Radish (Raphanus sativus) is an annual plant which botanically belongs to the family of Brassicaceae. The Saxa 2 variety it is extremely widespread, early and productive, with origin from Europe. It has a delicious, spicy flavor and produces bright red, round roots. The roots, which cover the red skin of the white, sometimes glassy and firm flesh, take only about a month from sowing to harvest.
