Characteristics of Cultivars/Varieties

Festuca arundinacea 'Greenfront'

Hard variety of turf with great tolerance to wear and significant recovery. It has a nice appearance both in summer and winter season. Very high tolerance to Rust caused by the phytopathogenic fungi Puccinia sp. and Uromyces sp., in Leaf Spot (Drechslera sp.), as well as in Red Thread (Laetisaria fuciformis).

Festuca arundinacea 'Essential'

Thin-leaved fescue variety. Nice looking, shows high resistance to spring and summer drought. Very high tolerance to Rust (Puccinia sp. and Uromyces sp.), Leaf Spot (Drechslera sp.), as well as Fusarium Wilt (Fusarium nivale).

Lolium perenne 'Fabian' (4Ν)

Tetraploid turf variety. It is a major component of many modern lawn mixes. It has good appearance, significant resistance to wear and high recovery. It is highly resistant to Rust (Puccinia sp. and Uromyces sp.), Fusarium wilt (Fusarium nivale) and Leaf spotting (Curvularia geniculata, C. lunata, C. verruculosa).
