The Bamboo Carbonized Wattle Reed Roll 150(H)x300cm Ø25-35mm is elegant, traditional style and extremely durable. It consists of selected reeds from the tree, which have been peripherally tied with galvanised wire every 130-150mm or so. They are carbonized using the hot steam technique in a kiln. In this way, the material acquires enormous resistance to the opening of the reeds and acquires its characteristic dark colour. Carbonized bamboo reeds are suitable for both fencing and shading. Among other things, they can be utilized by applying them to a multitude of different structures, such as gazebos, beach umbrellas, showers, changing rooms, etc. or even for creating a fence. As fences they isolate and protect plants in gardens or vegetable gardens from pets, or delineate special areas in the urban or country house. For even more shine and beauty, carbonized reeds can be glazed with oil or wax.

The bamboo wattle reeds 2.5-3.5 cm in diameter:​

• Are made from 100% natural reeds of the tree

• Show surface oxidation on the wire from the steaming treatment of the bamboo, but as the wire is 2mm thick it does not affect the strength and sturdiness of the product

• Are offered for long-term use

• Have a proven high resistance to the special climatic conditions of the Greek area​
