The WGB Garden Gloves meet the safety standards of EN 388.
EN 388: Protection against mechanical risks
Protective gloves for mechanical risks. Published in 2016 with an A1 amendment in 2018. The standard defines the requirements, test methods, markings and information to provide concerning gloves for mechanical abrasion, cutting, perforation and eventually shock risk protection.
A: Abrasion resistance (4 levels: 1 to 4).
B: Cutting resistance (5 levels: 1 to 5).
C: Tear resistance (4 levels: 1 to 4).
D: Perforation resistance (4 levels: 1 to 4).
E: Cutting resistance as per ISO 13997 (6 levels: A to F).
F: Shock resistance (optional test with 1 level identified by the letter P if the requirement is met ≤ 7 kN).

Wearing the wrong size gloves is not at all convenient for the work since, among other things, the sensitivity and dexterity of the hands are reduced. To maintain gloves at high levels of performance and protection, it is therefore important that the glove is the right size. For this purpose, the following table of matching hand-glove sizes is presented. If the correct size is between 2 others, it is suggested to choose the larger of the two.
