The professional coated & uncoated fertiliser granules mix Proturf 12-5-20+2CaO+2MgO is used to maintain, strengthen and harden the lawn mainly during autumn and winter. A characteristic of Proturf fertilizers is their high content of the natural mineral polyhalite. Polyhalite is a unique natural source of potassium, magnesium, calcium and sulphur, elements that contribute to a healthy and durable lawn. Also, a percentage of the nitrogen content is coated using Poly-S® technology. In Poly-S technology the nitrogen granules are covered first with sulfur and then with an innovative polymeric biodegradable membrane. With the absorption of moisture and always in combination with the temperature, the nitrogen contained in the grain is gradually released. The result from the use of Proturf 12-5-20+2CaO+2MgO can be seen shortly even when the soil temperature is low.
