Pruning Saw 39cm Silky IBUKI 390-5.5 Japan - Professional Saws. Silky's Japanese curved blade saws, belonging to the IBUKI saw series, make fast and efficient cutting. The IBUKI 390-5.5 pruning saw is a versatile cutting tool that stores conveniently in the scabbard and is used for a variety of wood, libs and branch sawing tasks. The long, curved blade of the saw has very large teeth that cut wood with ease, even large arms or trees. The IBUKI 390-5.5 is an extremely compact and convenient saw that the professional arborist, the gardener and the home grower can always have in hand during sawing operations. In addition, a prominent feature of the IBUKI 390-5.5 is that sawing with this cutting tool requires less force than other similar products on the market. Its rigid and nickel-plated blade, which fits into the handle, has four cutting angles making this hand saw extremely powerful and productive. The teeth remain sharp for a long time (although after prolonged use it is recommended to sharpen them) and the cuts are always smooth and clean. Clean cuts are ensured by the special design of the teeth, which offers the four cutting angles to the blade. When the IBUKI 390-5.5 is not in use, its blade easily enters the scabbard and by pushing it from the handle it locks. Also, the comfortable, ergonomic handle offers a firm and sure grip, while it provides the possibility of sawing with both hands. It is made of rubber and absorbs vibrations. The Pruning Saw 39cm Silky IBUKI 390-5.5 Japan is used in the garden, orchard, forest, camping, etc. Comes with a belt scabbard and is covered by a lifetime warranty - subject to conditions.

The new Electroless Nickel Plating coating process allows the entire blade, even the teeth, to be coated. This provides superior wear and rust resistance for improved cutting performance and extended blade life.
When the teeth are not induction hardened, they can be sharpened with the special Silky file. Check www.silky-europe.com for an overview of all saws that can be sharpened and for instructions on how to file a Silky saw.
The razor sharp teeth are ground in the blade with precision, each with 3 cutting edges and an extremely smooth surface as a result. For an optimal discharge of saw dust, one of every so many teeth (depending on the saw model) has been ground to the outside. This unmatched patented MIRAI-ME technology makes it possible to use the saw for 3 types of sawing: crosscutting (perpendicular to the grain), rip-cutting (parallel to the direction of the grain) and diagonally. During pruning activities the smooth saw cut will allow the tree wound to overgrown easily. Within carpentry, the smooth saw cut gives a large finish, so that sanding is hardly necessary.
The GOM rubber handle absorbs sawing vibrations and offers a superior grip, even in wet conditions or while wearing gloves. Moreover, this handle always feels comfortably warm, even in extremely cold temperatures.
