Instructions for Trap Use

• The appropriate food-attracting bait (about 1 kg) is placed inside the trap depending on the insects for which the trapping is sought

• When the water evaporates or when the device is filled with insect corpses, it is emptied and reused with new bait (the time varies from 60 days in spring and autumn to 25 days in summer)

• Insect traps cover an area of 80-150 m² in the fields, having an effective ratio of 8-14 traps per hectare

• For their placement, the southern parts of trees and at a height of 0.5-2 m from the ground are preferred

Preparation of Baits - Dosage

For dacus-mediterranean fly-black fig fly-rhagoletis and other Diptera, it is used:

• Ammonia sulfate solution (21-0-0) at a ratio of 3% with water (3 kg of ammonia sulfate in 100 kg of water or 2 tablespoons of ammonia sulfate in 1 kg of water)

For wasps, houseflies, fruit flies, etc. is used:

• 10% wine flavored with 10% sugar or other sweet substances with 5% vinegar and 75% water

• Orange juice or soft drinks

For stable flies, house flies etc. is used:

• A piece of raw fish and water

• 100 g cat food or dog food and water
