DCM Expanded Clay Hydrogra Granules 8-16mm. Natural material produced from high quality clay. It is completely free of harmful salts, because the granules is baked at temperatures above 650 °C and therefore becomes completely chemically inert and without risk to plants. The red colored granules of expanded clay are designed for various purposes. DCM expanded clay can be used as a special substrate which favors good drainage, good aeration and root development. The material itself is used as a substrate in hydroponics to support the roots of various plants. In addition to hydroponic systems, this expanded clay can also be used in the enrichment of various types of compost intended for potted plants. It can also participate in potting soil mixtures, contributing to the creation of a high-quality planting medium, at the same time enhancing the weight of the pots. Furthermore, it is an excellent decorative material, provided it is placed in a layer at least 2 centimeters thick on the surface of the soil in pots or in the garden. The DCM Expanded Clay consists of granules with a diameter of 8 to 16 millimeters.
