Extremely productive variety with non-bitter, smooth, bright green color. Available in a 2g packing.
With a selection of Damascus cucumber plants, in the Beit Alpha (or Bet Alfa), the homonymous type of cucumber was created in 1950 in a Israeli collective agricultural community.
Beit Alfa cucumbers produce only female flowers and are virgin carp, which means they do not need pollination to produce fruit. The cucumbers produced are bright green, slightly curved, and have a high degree of uniformity.
They react extremely and continue to produce fruits at relatively low temperatures (100-150C) and large (350-400C) while they are resistant to CMV and WMV viruses.
The fruit produced is so thin that it can be consumed with the peel.
Depending on the cultivation method and prevailing climatic conditions, fruit bearing cucumber Beit Alpha plants can be harvested 10-30 times.
